Something about the ragged, cracked, and loud Thunderpath drew her to it. Maybe it was the sense of danger that it brought upon all cats. Whatever the reason, she found her white paws treading across the marshy ground toward the dangerous stretch of gray.
No, she wasn’t going to clear her head, or tempt fate by playing on the path. She simply just wanted to feel the rush of adrenaline that was gained when the body was tense from fear. It was her own personal high. With the Clans at a calm standing, she had no excitement in her life. This was the only thing that could get her going. On the other hand, she could create drama, problems. A bit of tension between ShadowClan and ThunderClan, but, that caused death … Terncall shook the thought from her mind and continued on her way dodging through the pine trees until they grew sparse and the ground hardened under the pads of her paws.
Glancing down at her paws, she giggled at how dirty they were; the white of them were now a dingy gray, with a hint of green in it. Feeling the stub of her tail flick, she turned her attention back to what she was doing and the scents that were wafting over her dominantly black body. The one that caught her attention and made her nose wrinkle and her nostrils burn, was the putrid stench that was coming from the Thunderpath. She couldn’t see it yet, but she could hear the angry growls of monsters on it. A giggle shot up and escaped before she could suppress it, her giddiness showing instead of her hiding it like she usually did.
As the sounds grew louder she stopped, and thought about something she hadn’t been to before. She had heard about it, but never been there. Claws playing with the dirt, she looked around with a sparkle in her eye as she made a decision and made a sharp move to the left towards ShadowClans secret weapon. A large, very long monster ripped its way up the hard gray surface and Terncall stopped to watch it. Her pale eyes watched it go by, feeling the air it forced away from it floating down towards her. The young warrior had never seen a monster that big before in her life and it sent a whole new kind of terror through her.
She wasn’t so sure about her plan anymore, but the way her heart was racing and her paws itched to keep moving, she pushed on against the fear that was rippling through her body in a torrent of shudders. Terncall wasn’t scared easily, but right now, she was terrified.
Finally she made it to the secret tunnel and gazed into it. It was quite ominous now that she was this close to it. She could reach out a paw and tough the wall of the opening. The thunderpath was eerily quiet and it unnerved her. But it was exciting at the same time. After a few more moments, her heart slowed down and she took her first few tentative steps into the tunnel and she laughed nervously. She was under the Thunderpath! Walking to the middle, she looked to the top and seen cracks pieces of dirt fall to the ground. The she-cat was very intrigued.
Vvvrrrooooom!
The noise echoed like thunder within the tunnel and Terncall’s eyes widened to the size of the moon and she shot out of the tunnel. Heart pounding in her chest she ran full bore through ShadowClan territory towards the camp. Only, something was wrong.
The ground wasn’t soft.
Terncall stopped dead in her tracks, her breathing heavy and her heart beating like a hammer.
ThunderClan.

Midnightstar padded along the border of Thunderclan territory. She turned and headed farther into the territory; proceeding to camp. Her ears forward, and her eyes narrowed, the she-cat sensed fear, but knew it wasn't coming from cats of her own clan.. It's Shadowclan, I bet. Riverclan is too lazy to cross the river, and too mouse-brained to use the stepping-stones. She thought, a scowl on her face.
Midnightstar finally saw Terncall and called out to her, "Greetings. What business do you have on Thunderclan territory? I'd expect that if Crimsonstar wanted to speak with me, he'd come himself." She halted in front of the she-cat, her eyes showing nothing as she waited for a reply. Probably just an accident, but I'm not taking any chances.

[/style] spottedfern Spottedfern was a quite an individual cat. She was very curious, but didn't mind being on her own either. This very day she had been out in the forest, admiring the way the wind blew through the pines. She made a mental note of how a leaf from an oak tree had blown in front of her gazing, landing on a small puddle in front of her. Being a highly superstitious cat, her eyes had gone wide with worry. In her mind, a leaf in a puddle meant danger in the way the leaf was pointing. Instead of ignoring it, as many cats did, Spottedfern decided that she should check out what could be in the direction.
Ruffling her silky, tortoiseshell fur for a moment, and then gracefully giving it a lick to flatten, she started out. The leaf had been pointed out of camp towards the infamous Thunderpath. Part of the she-cat felt scared, but her curiosity overtook those feelings. She made her way out of ShadowClan's territory and caught a glimpse of another cat creeping into the path under the road. Her bright eyes glanced up, slightly confused. Who would have entered the Thunderpath by choice? She had to find out.
The tortoiseshell she-cat hurried in attempt to catch up to the mystery cat (as she couldn't recognize it from the distance). Her mind appeared to wander as she neared the Thunderpath - noticing some Twolegs on the side of the road up ahead. Her eyes flashed from side to side cautiously as she noticed a mouse in a bushel ahead. She almost took off after it, but realized that she was on a mission. Leaves don't fall in puddles all the time!
Refocusing her attention, Spottedfern stalked after the cat, scared as she passed through the giant tunnel. Her ears remained down as she crouched through it, albeit much slower than needed. As she made it through the dark opening, she let out a small purr. Mind you, the thought of encountering an enemy cat at the point was the last thing on her mind; she was rather open at the moment. Her nose went into the air, sniffing in scents of the forest gently. Her eyes went wide. She knew who was out here - Terncall!
She raced to attempt to catch up to the wandering she-cat, tumbling over stray tree roots and brambles. Adding a few open wounds to her appearance, mostly on her clumsy paws and shoulders from impact, she finally caught up to the cat.
"Terncall! What are you doing all the way out here?" Spottedfern offered her fellow ShadowClanner a sweet smile. Her tone was very gentle, and was full of curiosity. She simply wondered why Terncall had chosen to come this far from camp - there was nothing in her mind that saw it as wrong, who knows why exactly. With the dumb grin on her face, Spottedfern took a moment to sit down and rest, panting a bit from all the running.
Suddenly, before Spottedfern could completely register what was going on, ThunderClan's leader appeared before them. Oh, what luck! First a falling leaf omen and then meeting a ThunderClan leader - Spottedfern was having quite an eventful day already.
The she-cat sat up from her laying position, curling her tail over her forepaws as she offered the leader a kind-hearted smile.
"Why, hello. . .Midnightstar, isn't it?" she said, actually not sure if she had remembered the leader's name right or not. She had been to several Gatherings by now, but she still had problems remembering things like names. "Terncall and I were just out for a stroll," she meowed, light as ever as if there was nothing wrong with ShadowClan on Thunderclan territory.

Midnightstar nodded, A stroll, huh? It doesn't seem like they were hunting prey or anything, but I still don't trust them... I mean, it is Shadowclan.. "So, you were on a stroll and somehow ended up on Thunderclan territory? Well..... I'll leave it this time, but if it happens again; be prepared for a fight." She flicked her tail for her patrol to stand beside her. "Go on now." She meowed to the Shadowclan cats.
Burningpaw
Burningpaw's teeth were bared, and his eyes showed mock. Heh heh! Nasty Shadowclan! "Do you even know where your own territory is or do you think that you own the whole forest?" He sneered at them.
Midnightstar flicked her tail over the apprentice's mouth and closed her eyes, "No need to start something when the clans are happy."
Burningpaw snapped at Midnightstar's tail, but she quickly flicked it out of the way in time. She gave him a stern look that said 'Nice try. Now stop.' He sat, teeth still showing, staring at the Shadowclan cats.

Never before had the black and white she-cat been on ThunderClan territory without someone there with her. She was scared, and to top it off, she was fairly certain she was close to their camp which would make it even more suspicious if someone were to find her. Of course, she couldn’t tell them that the truth; it was embarrassing! She would probably be openly mocked and it would be brought up at the next Gathering and everything would be a disaster and she would have to hide her face for awhile. This was almost as disgraceful, as her father leaving the Clan.
Terncall would never have come to ThunderClan territory, whether it be to trespass, or steal prey. It was wrong, and against the Warrior Code. That would bring shame to her name and her Clan, and StarClan knew that ShadowClan didn’t need any more shame upon them. However, on the order of Crimsonstar, she would, but only on his order.
Looking around frantically, trying not to get her scent everywhere she tried to figure out which way she came from, having turned herself around with all her thoughts and immobilizing fear that had gripped her a few moments ago. Knowing that she wasn’t doing anything wrong - well, other than being on ThunderClan territory – made her calm down slightly, but not much. Her heart had slowed to its normal pace and she could think more clearly and first and foremost she knew she needed to get out of here as fast as possible. If only she knew which way to go!
"Greetings. What business do you have on Thunderclan territory? I'd expect that if Crimsonstar wanted to speak with me, he'd come himself."
A horrible sinking feeling gripped her stomach as her worst nightmare came true. Cursing herself, she turned to look right into the face of Midnightstar, the ThunderClan leader. Terncall locked her eyes on the leaders and stood up straight in front of her, showing no fear, even though she felt it. The she-cat had never backed down from a confrontation and this was no different. Ears swiveling back, she furrowed her brow and was about to speak when another voice filled the air and another scent. Spottedfern. Terncall glanced over her shoulder as she came up to her side and inwardly groaned. Now, it looked suspicious. Looking sheepish, she didn’t speak seeing how Spottedfern had already addressed the leader. But when she came to the explanation of why they were they she shot the she-cat a incredulous look. A stroll?! Might as well the leader that they were hunting prey!
“You don’t believe us, eh? Do you think we look like a hunting patrol sent to steal your precious prey?” Terncall asked, sick of all this niceness. It wasn’t her style and it was time for a bit of fun, even if it did get her into trouble. Then again, everyone expected the she-cat to get into trouble. Gone was her worry of what anyone would think, she wanted to have fun and if it meant riling up the ThunderClan leader, why not?! “Of course you don’t believe us. We’re just lowly ShadowClan warriors. Get real Midnightstar.” She smiled with a bit of a curl of her lip and flicked the stub of her tail. “Is that a threat?” Terncall inquired narrowing her eyes and tilting her head to the side slightly. Then the voice of a young cat rang out and Terncall looked around bewildered until her eyes fell upon the apprentice.
She cocked an eyebrow.
“As a matter of fact runt, we know our territory very well. But,” She paused, with a quick look to her Clanmate, hoping that she would play along instead of staying all formal and nice towards the ThunderClanners. “sometimes you just got to go where the fun is.” She laughed softly, not too concerned about what the apprentice would do. She knew his type, big talking, not very bright. Just like she was when she was a kit, only, she was one of the smart ones. “Oh, listen to your leader, wouldn’t want to make her angry.” Terncall sat down, looking smug.

Midnightstar's ears flattened against her head and she spat, "Fun, huh? You want fun? Fine. Burningpaw, Catnipcloud; attack the Shadowclan cats. Show them that there is no 'fun' on our territory." The leader sat, waiting.
Well, there's obviously fun when we get to attack Shadowclan cats! Burningpaw thought happily, lunging for Terncall, claws unsheathed, teeth bared.
The call for battle urged Midnightstar, and she charged for Spottedfern and tried to swipe at the she-cat's face.

[/style] spottedfern Spottedfern gave Terncall a look of apology as she realized how suspicious her comment made them seem. Of course when the tortoiseshell she-cat had spoken, she never thought it could be taken as so. She shrunk back slightly, uneasily as Terncall confronted the leader. Spottedfern hated that ShadowClan was seen as such a dark Clan - everyone she knew was mostly kind and brave, as any other Clan was. Just because they had a dark history didn't mean the Clan should be forever cursed with a horrible stigma. Karma would eventually catch up with ShadowClan, Spottedfern was sure.
Her ears fell against her head, almost in submission of the other cats as she lowered her body a bit to the ground. She wasn't one for fighting and arguing, obviously. Her eyes sparkled slightly as Terncall bravely called out the ThunderClan apprentice - she would never in her lifetime do something so dangerous as call out another Clan cat in front of their leader! Terncall was certainly a cat that didn't take anything from anyone, and Spottedfern glanced up at the she-cat with a look of astonishment mixed with a warm smile. She looked up to Terncall's ferocity and opinionatedness with a force like no other. It was unlikely that Spottedfern would ever become such a strong-willed cat, but she liked to secretly believe that being around Terncall made her seem a tad bit more fierce (which of course it didn't, but it made her feel better to think that).
The tortoiseshell straightened herself back up, lifting her tail in the air to curl it around as another dumb smile encountered her face. At Terncall's comments, Spottedfern couldn't help but chuckle (mind you, it was more like a giggle than as sinister as she had been trying to make it).
A moment later, Midnighstar appeared to lunge herself at the tortie female. Taken by surprise, as she was too much in her head to realize what was going on, the she-cat tumbled back from the blow. A droplet of blood fell into the surrounding bramble as Midnightstar had successfully swiped above her eye. It wasn't a deep gash - more like a thin scrape, but it was enough to make a bit of blood - and enough to hurt!
Spottedfern let out a yowl, partly from shock and partly from pain.
"What did I ever do to you?" the she-cat complained, but quickly regained her stance in case the leader attempted to attack once more. Spottedfern really was pacifist, and never expected to find such drama after following where the leaf sent her. She backed up a bit from the leader, legs shaking a bit from the idea of a battle. "Can't we just talk this out? Why are we fighting?" Sadly, Spottedfern was being completely honest. After being off in her own world, she didn't even know what was really going on anymore. What had happened?

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=d9c194] The flame-colored ThunderClan cat grunted as he followed Midnightstar and Burningpaw on the daily patrol. He wasn't much in the mood for a patrol after meeting a loner on their lands earlier named Kurai. He didn't care for anyone outside of ThunderClan, and the encounter had made his mood sour for the rest of the day. Reluctantly, he padded most of the way after them - keeping an eye on Burningpaw as he seemed to be such a troublemaker. He got into everything and was quite annoying as far as Catnipcloud was concerned.
Suddenly, he smelled something odd. A cat yowled back toward camp, so he flicked his tail at Midnightstar, as if signaling that he will catch up to them. Of course, a cat just stepped on a thorn and was complaining as the medicine cat pulled it out. Catnipcloud grunted, dismayed by the distraction. He quickly changed directions to catch up to his leader and the apprentice.
As soon as he caught up, he heard the end of their conversation as the scent of ShadowClan filled his nostrils. A growl formed on his face as he escaped through the bramble to stand next to his leader. Why was ShadowClan on their territory? They simply had no right to be here, and it was evident on his maw that he didn't think lightly of Terncall. The she-cat wanted trouble, and he would gladly give her some. Although he had to admit, her spunk almost made him chuckle (as he wasn't as kind to outsiders as Midnightstar), but only for a moment.
As Midnightstar gave the call to attack, the tomcat's golden eyes seemed to glitter. If ShadowClan cats wanted to be on their territory, they could. And if they wanted some fun, oh he'd definitely give them something to talk about. He licked his jaws for a moment as he let out a growl at Terncall.
"Here, kitty kitty," he meowed jokingly at her. Of course he didn't wish to seriously injure the cat, but his pent-up anger over Kurai had to be displaced somewhere, and this was the perfect place. A sassy she-cat from ShadowClan, what a match!
Catnipcloud raced forward as Burningpaw attempted to attack Terncall. He leapt over the younger cat and tried to land on top of the she-cat, golden eyes glimmering.

Her green eyes sparkled at the she-cats words. Terncall felt a rush of excitement pulse through her body that fired her up and she unsheathed her claws. She had gotten under the calm leaders skin and she had ordered the attack. Two on two, two warriors, a leader and an apprentice! This would be simple! However, as the she-cat failed to see earlier, there was another cat present. He must’ve shown up when she was addressing Burningpaw and she hadn’t even noticed. Terncall sized him up and went into battle mode. Ears back, and tear bared at the tom cat, she only had a moments warning before she felt a impact that sent the wind out of her lungs and her skittering to the forest floor.
“Hey!” She cried as she got back up to her feet and stared at the apprentice with an incredulous expression. “Stupid c-!” Her words were cut off as she felt claws dig into her thick back and a yowl pierced the air. The she-cat felt the weight of the tom on her back and her hind legs gave out on her and she found herself tumbling to the ground again. This was more than she bargained for! Two cats on one was not something she would like to like experience! However, she was not going to back down. She would fight until the fight was called off. Wriggling her body, she tried to slash at the tom though in her frenzy she wasn’t sure whether she connected with his flesh or not.
After a few excruciating moments Terncall shot out from under the tom cat and away from the battle, just far enough that she could get her barings. She looked at Burningpaw who had made the first move, and then to her Clan mate who didn’t appear to be fighting at all, simply trying to talk with the Clan leader. Fight Spottedfern! She thought with exasperation. Terncall knew her friend pretty well and knew that she wasn’t a big fighter but at a time like this there wasn’t much time to not be fighting!
“No time for chit chat there Spotterfern! Fight!” She called to the she-cat before growling and taking off towards Catnipcloud. As she passed the apprentice she took a swipe at him, before going for Catnipcloud’s feet. She may have been a young warrior but she was a fair fighter and she was determined to show that to these ThunderClan cats no matter what.

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=d9c194] Catnipcloud felt the impact as he made contact with Terncall and then toppled over on one another. He was slightly amazed that he had successfully jumped on top of her, but she quickly writhed away from him, leaving him to roll onto his side. As his flame-colored fur rolled against the ground, his belly had been exposed. Golden yes widened at the fierce she-cat as she brought a claw down on him, which he safely avoided - that is, his belly did. In the middle of his roll, as she was much more swift than he was used to, she had scratched him on his shoulder, causing him to roll awkwardly to the side with a growl. He finally wriggled from the ground to gain his composure as he stood once more.
"Oh come on, pretty girl - what else have you got in you?" he sneered at her playfully. For a cat from ShadowClan, he couldn't help but admire her a bit. Not that he'd admit it, of course. But she was quite a bit fun.
His golden eyes narrowed and a smirk appeared on his face as Terncall charged toward him. He braced himself to leap out of her attack, assuming she would go for his face or already-wounded shoulder. Surprisingly, he was wrong once again. He had to admire the she-cat's tactics - they completely took him off-guard. And how off-guard he had become.
As Terncall attacked his feet, Catnipcloud let out a terrible grunting yowl. He hadn't been expecting that kind of attack at all, and it hurt! After her attack, he stumbled backward, trying to pull away from the ShadowClanner.
"Who taught you to fight?" he hissed at her, partially due to the pain in his paws. They had a fresh scratch over the tops, and it didn't feel pleasant in the least. This fueled Catnipcloud's fire even more for battle. With a strong hiss, his fur fluffed up. His muscles tensed (and hurt, mind you) and he leapt for her once more, but this time aimed for her backside.

A surge of pride coerced through her body as she watched the tom get up from the ground with a bit of a struggle. That would teach the THunderClanner to doubt a ShadowClan cat! Where the she-cat lacked in hunting skills, she made up for in battle. Tricks she had picked up from other Clans, and from her own mind, proved most useful in situations like this. However, she was still quite young, and sometimes she bit off more than she could chew. It was easy for her to lose her head and go like fire at the other cat not really knowing what she is doing until she is pinned to the ground unable to move.
“There’s a lot more where that came!” She growled, making contact with his paws. The attack hadn’t quite worked out the way she had hoped, but it knocked him off balance for the most part, and her too for that matter. Side stepping from the impact she felt a pain rear up in her shoulder from where she had landed from after she hit him and she grimaced in pain. She blinked back at the ripe pain within her body and took her eyes off of the ThunderClan warrior; quite a stupid move, but she did hear what he had to say.
“Wouldn’t you like to know?” Terncall laughed angrily trying to regain her body that was fighting with her now. It hurt to put pressure on her right leg, but even so she wouldn’t give up. Shaking her head, her ears swiveled forward to the sound the tom was making and before she had time to react she felt the impact of his body one again, this time aimed at her hind quarters. A sharp yowl escaped from her mouth and a shocked expression engulfed her features. She felt claws rake skin, and break skin and more pain surged through her body.
“Get off of me, you brute!” Terncall growled shrilly, trying to get away from him. However, this time with the pain in her shoulder and the weight of him, she had a much harder time doing it. The more she moved, the more pain would come and it didn’t seem to matter which way she moved, the tom cats claws dug deeper into her haunches. Finally deciding that she could not squirm out like she had last time, she took the easy route out and rolled, a little hesitantly for her soft black underbelly was exposed and a prickle of fear as to what Burningpaw might do sprang into her mind a little too late. She was already on her side ready to roll.

Burningpaw felt claws rake him and he watched as the battle raged on between Catnipcloud and Terncall. The apprentice, a bit dazed at the speed of the battle, looked back at Midnightstar, who was fighting the other Shadowclan cat. What should I do? Burningpaw wondered, turning back to Catnipcloud and Terncall.
At the moment he turned, Burningpaw's yellow eyes saw the perfect chance of attack. Terncall appeared to be rolling, trying to get away from Catnipcloud. Now! Burningpaw urged himself, charging forward- sending bits of dirt and grass as his claws-unsheathed paws quickly moved forward. Eyes narrowed and showing determination to cause pain, Burningpaw leaped and pushed his front paws forward, while his back paws followed in the air; he looked as if a bird diving for a bug. Burningpaw's ears fell back protectively as wind hit them, causing Burningpaw's hearing to be muffled.
The apprentice aimed to land on Terncall's side, his itching claws hoping to slash fur into the air, and to rip skin. Burningpaw knew one thing at this point- he wanted to kill, and that was the only thing that mattered.

In her roll, the she-cat felt something pop in her shoulder, the same one she landed on. Excruciating pain shot through her body again and she yowled, her body going limp for a minute at the magnitude of the pain. This was ridiculous. She was gonna wind up dead if things didn’t stop. All she was trespass a little bit! Terncall twisted, and turned trying to get the heavy tom off of her now swelling shoulder, his claws still deep within her flesh, everytime she moved the ripped farther in. Clenching her teeth, she tried one more to get out away from him when she felt ice hot claws rake her stomach.
“OW! STOP!” She cried as the apprentices claws ripped the soft flesh of her stomach. Terncall wiggled, and twisted trying everything that she could to get away from the tom cats. The she-cat swiped at Burningpaw, though she couldn’t quite reach him. She was going to get killed if they didn’t stop. Each scratch on her body felt like it was on fire, and her shoulder felt disconnected from her body. Making a racket, Terncall started yowling and squirming even more, feeling the adrenaline kick in and sending the pain away. “GET OFF OF ME!!!” She growled angrily and getting her hind legs on the ground, forced her way out of the grasp of Catnipcloud, and Burningpaw. She received more gashed that way, their claws ripping her skin more when she got out of their way. She turned to look at them, pain and fury in her eyes.
Terncall knew she had to stop fighting. Her shoulder was dislocated, and her leg hung uselessly, the top of her paw upon the ground. Her whole body ached from the gashes, and she started to feel light headed, but she wanted to get back at the little apprentice who looked mad with blood thirst. The look scared her, and the way he came at her unnerved her. Bending her front end down she growled at the apprentice.
“Come here Burningpaw.” Terncall taunted ignoring the pain in her shoulder. She was determined to fight until someone called it off, or she was dead. Of course, dying over a silly trespass seemed a little farfetched, but either way, she was not backing down. Her head was spinning, and her whole body was screaming for her to stop, but she wouldn’t. Burningpaw was going to get a fresh lesson in what it meant to fight.

Concentrating on the looks of them, trying to distinguish which ones they were out of was driving him insane. Closing his eyes and shaking his head, he took a deep breath and sighed trying to keep calm. This was starting to frustrate him. He wasn’t learning as quickly as he wanted to! He was good with these kind of things but he wans’t doing very good right now. Feeling anger build up in his chest, he growled and batted away a dead leaf, and picked a herb he knew and took off out of the den, decided then and there that he was going to go more of it.
Poppyseed. He thought to himself as he exited out of the camp, but he was greeted by strange noises. Discerning noises, the noises of a battle. This close to camp? Crimsonpaw, shook his head and sighed once more. What was it now? The anger he felt was still present and this was starting to make it worse. Didn’t ThunderClan have e ough to worry about without having to deal with rogues on their territory!? Brow furrowing and a dark look, the small orange tom cat worked his way over the ground until he was close enough to the fight to see what was going on.
“ShadowClan?!” He said outloud incredulously. What in StarClan’s name were they doing here!? Crimsonpaw stood there watching. Midnightstar seemed to be fighting with a she-cat that he did not recognize though she seemed oddly familiar. A loud yowl caught his attention and he looked to see Catnipcloud and Burningpaw ganged up on a black lump, or so it seemed. This she-cat he didn’t recognize either. There was nothing he could do but watch. He had no idea how long it had been going on for, no cat seemed to be too hurt. That was his thought until he noticed the black she-cat shooting away from the two toms and standing in front of them with her swollen shoulder. Crimsonpaw knew enough to know that something was seriously wrong with her shoulder. With an angry growl he walked closer to the battle and close to Midnightstar so that she would hear him.
“Midnightstar! Stop!” He said with exasperation, his voice breaking as he tried to be louder than the battle that was raging on around him. Upon closer inspection he noticed that Catnipcloud was also hurt, though he seemed to only have a few open wounds. Burningpaw seemed to be fine except for a bit of blood on his side, but the apprentice wasn’t sure whether it was his own or the she-cat. “Do you want these cats to die?” He growled, his anger getting the best of him and coming out in his words.

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=d9c194] Catnipcloud fell off the she-cat's backside as she rolled over, landing on the terrain with a thud, sending up smoky clouds of dust after him. He huffed for a moment, the fight with the she-cat tiring out him quite a bit - he had become a bit too rusty. He leaned to the side, breathing steadily and quickly as his golden eyes stared at the ShadowClan cat in front of him. He gave his paws a quick lick to clean the cut, only making him wince more.
As he stared up at the ShadowClanner a pang of guilt hit him. He had never felt guilty about fighting another Clan cat, let alone speaking ill of one, but the circumstances didn't seem right. From what he caught of the speech earlier, this cat was roaming and just out for some excitement. Certainly that didn't call for such an all-out battle. Both Terncall and Spottedfern seemed out of breath, and for the first time in his life he felt as though he had done wrong. He wasn't sure what it was that made him feel this way, but seeing the pain and anger in Terncall's eyes made his golden orbs look away as he caught his breath. Was this way of fighting right? After all, they did trespass on ThunderClan's territory. But was trespassing really worth the pain Terncall was showing? Maybe they had gone a bit overboard.
Terncall tempted Burningpaw, who seemed to be starkly at her with a crazy look in his eyes.
"Burningpaw! Stop!" he yowled instinctively, his eyes becoming wide. Had he really just said that? What has become of him?
As if on cue, Crimsonpaw appeared before them. Catnipcloud shot him a look as the apprentice spoke, his golden eyes still confused over his yowl at Burningpaw. After all, he was always up for a fight. Silently he was glad that Crimsonpaw had arrived - this cat could make this silly fight stop. Catnipcloud adored fighting if it was for a reason, or at least he told himself this.
Crimsonpaw seemed to be overlooking each of them, and Catnipcloud felt his fur get hot with embarrassment. Not to mention guilt. Not only had he just felt guilty by his own conscience, but now Crimsonpaw was angry with all of them. Although Crimsonpaw was still a medicine cat apprentice, Catnipcloud gave him the same respect as Fleetingthunder. His golden eyes turned to the side, as if there was something in his fur, as he couldn't meet the cat's eyes.

Burningpaw didn't even look at Catnipcloud- he simply ignored the warrior. His gaze and attention was fixed on Terncall and he finally shook his head, "No way!" Burningpaw figured the she-cat called him over to rip him apart or something. I want her dead... His thoughts shown in his yellow eyes- which were narrowed and showing determination, strength, and hatred as well.
Burningpaw slowly began to pad forward- knowing he shouldn't. He just wanted to get close enough to Terncall to show her what a 'runt' could do. He'd show her how much strength hid in him- how much strength hid in ThunderClan. "You probably thought I was weak- you even called me a runt. I won't let you get away with thinking you can call me a runt. Oh no- you're going to pay for that. Whether it's now or another time.." He hissed, staying away from Terncall and hoping that she couldn't move too fast and attack him.
Midnightstar stopped and turned to Crimsonpaw, "What are you-" She was cut off as she saw Terncall- a messed up-looking shoulder and the rest of her body injured. "I hadn't realized.." She whispered, feeling a bit guilty- which is pretty odd for Midnightstar. Her voice turned into a yowl, "ThunderClan cats, that's enough!" She eyed Burningpaw carefully, hoping he'd obey.
Burningpaw turned his head and called to his leader, "Aww... The fight was just getting fun, though." Despite his words, Burningpaw took a few steps back, though he still glared at Terncall.
