Raccoonkit padded slowly and carefully from the nursery. He took special care of his ringed tail to make sure it didn't hit his mother or any of the other queens. He had been told that he should never leave the nursery, that some of the big cats were getting sick. He didn't know what sick meant. He wanted to know what it looked like.
Outside the nursery he grazed the camp with amber eyes. He looked at the different dens and started towards Swansong's. He remembered being told that she took care of sick cats. He'd probably find them there. Durring his walk he became distracted, seeing the tails of one of the bigger warriors. He crept towards it and pounced. He was the best hunter in the clan!
