Name: Eaglepelt
Gender: Tom
Clan: Katana's Clan (in the making)
Rank: Guard
Age: 20 Moons
Description: Large, dark tabby tom with piercing amber eyes and looks intimidating. His fur is quite thick and it's hard for claws to get through to the skin, but its not impossible. His fur is always well groomed, thanks to Hawkclaw and Katana. They spend a lot of time grooming each other. Katana says it helps strengthen bonds, and Eaglepelt does feel a little closer to his leader every time she helps groom him. His paws seem almost to large for his powerful legs, and hold long, hooked claws that are sharper than a badger's teeth. They can easily slice through fur and skin, like his teeth. His teeth are long too and if you look at his mouth, you can see the points of his fangs poking out under his lip. His head is broad, and powerful. He has a lot of muscle in his neck, which gives his head a lot of strength. His ears are sharp triangles, black tufts of fur on their tips. His eyes, however, can be just as intimidating as his muscular appearance. They are golden like LionClan's pelts and can be friendly at one moment, and dangerously hostile at the next. His shoulders and chest are broad and tough with raw power, giving him all the strength he needs to enforce Katana's rules, no matter how ridiculous they may be. His tail is unusually long, and fluffy like the rest of his body. It is a large, sweeping tail with fur that swings from the skin like willow tree leaves. He also has a large scar over his left eye. It goes from his ear, down over the center of his left eye, sweeps over his muzzle, and stretches to his lower jaw. This scar is from Katana when Eaglepelt doubted her choice. Since then, he keeps his opinion to himself.
Personality: Eaglepelt is a quiet cat. He doesn't talk to anyone except Hawkclaw and Katana, and occasionally new recruits that Katana will sometimes send him out to get. He is also obedient, doing as Katana tells him and no less. He will protect Katana and Hawkclaw with his life, and never run away from fights. He will kill to win a fight if he has to, and will kill any cat Katana tells him to. He is loyal to her because he fears her in a way, but because she treats him with respect and hospitality. She never blames him for anything and knows she will protect him like he protects her. In all honesty, Eaglepelt believes he is actually in love with Katana, though he keeps it a secret and hides it well. He is easily annoyed and gets angry if insulted or threatened, and will be outraged if someone were to blame, insult, or threaten Katana in any way. He is also stubborn, and likes to argue.
History (optional): Eaglekit was born in ShadowClan, his mother was Foxheart, his father was Shadowpelt. They never paid any attention to Eaglekit, only interacting with him when they had to. Another queen, Snowbird, often played with Eaglekit, and allowed him to play with her daughters Vinekit and Ivykit. He bonded with them and the three became inseparable in no time. He would sleep in Snowbird's nest, freeing his mother Foxheart to return to warrior duties early. Snowbird nursed Eaglekit and taught him right from wrong. Eaglekit turned six moons old, he became an apprentice with a warrior named Frostfoot as his mentor.
She herself had just become a warrior and she was famous for her sharp tongue and harsh personality. She was fast to erase all that Snowbird taught Eaglepaw. She never gave him a break, training him hard and clawing at him every time he did something wrong. He learned what pain really was and was toughened by the cruel she-cat. He quickly gained her attitude and finally became a warrior. On his silent vigil, he was alone while the rest of the clan slept.
A mysterious she-cat came into camp at exactly moon high and Eaglepelt opened his jaws to sound the alarm. She was very small, no older than eight moons old, and she was beautiful with her pale tabby pelt and dazzling amber eyes. She talked to him softly as to not wake any cats, and Eaglepelt answered her questions with nods and shakes of his head, knowing he couldn't speak until dawn. Just before dawn came, the she-cat left the camp and appeared to Eaglepelt the next day while he was hunting alone.
Again, she talked to him, but again, he sent her away. When he got back to camp, Eaglepelt found the clan in turmoil. Frostfoot was deputy of the clan then and as soon as she saw Eaglepelt, she blamed him of taking Snowbird's kits and taking them to another clan, claiming he was disloyal. Eaglepelt was shocked, and Snowbird cautiously approached Eaglepelt if it was true. He said he hadn't, but Frostfoot believed him to be a liar. She turned the clan against him and was exiled. That night, the she-cat visited him once more. She asked why he was alone and told her what happened. She gave him pity, telling him that what happened was unfair, and that there was no real proof.
Eaglepelt asked the she-cat what her name was. "Katana. Join me, Eaglepelt, and together we can avenge this unfair exile." She had said. Her voice was so calm, so sure. Something about Katana called to Eaglepelt and he hesitantly agreed. He became one of her guards and a moon later, Eaglepelt's friend, Hawkclaw, came home with Katana. Hawkclaw was Snowbird's kit when Eaglepelt was still in the nursery. He asked Hawkclaw why he left ShadowClan and he told Eaglepelt that Frostfoot had told Crimsonstar that she herself had seen Hawkclaw giving away ShadowClan's secrets to Midnightstar of ThunderClan. Together, they formed Katana's Guard.
