[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,500,true][bg=0c2641]The ground was well littered in an array of brightly colored leaves. Fallingfeather, a she-cat with misty gray and white fur found herself strolling near the edges of the Thunderpath. The feline's honest emerald eyes dotting at the ebony edge of the Thunderpath. Every so often she could feel the quake of a monster roaring down the path which shook small pebbles against the path. A medicine cat didn't fear much and Fallingfeather was full of gust-o and still very full of arrogant youth. Despite this, she was wise for her age. What had brought her to this path to her thoughts was the death of Galetpaw by some sort of sneaking marsh creature.
For days now she had been seeking answers from StarClan but nothing came. It was strange. Normally the ancient cats were always crowding in her head but now it was silent as dawn. In a sense the female found it infuriating to be left abandoned by wisdom when they needed it most. Her paws floated dangerously close to the path, the zoom of the air and the wind that tugged at her flanks was almost too much to bare.
Finally her paws drifted onto the comfort of grass once more. She floated effortlessly. Her paws carrying her along as a free as her name. In her blind heartache the youthful she-cat didn't see the creature that lumbered toward her bitterly. It was nothing other than a badger. As if anyone needed more trouble as of late. When her jade eyes finally rose to catch sight of the creature she had practically at that moment dropped down on her paws and rolled away from the aimed paw of the creature.
Bruised by her rash movement, the she-cat leaned back onto her paws. Darting away with her slender bodice to avoid the badger who pursued. Luck seemed to be on her side because she spied a small abandoned burrow from the scent of it. Squeezing her tiny bodice into the nook, she stared out with intense eyes hoping the creature wouldn't notice and would pass. So it did, except she wasn't able to free herself from the nook.

Stormywind jerked his head up fast enough to cause a rather painful crick in his neck, his olive eyes warily watching a monster coming down Thunder Path. His eyes reflected the light eerily back at the monster before he ducked into the bushes on the side of the path as to avoid the monster's attention. He crouched in the bushes, completely still until the monster passed and its roaring turned into a dull humming in the distance.
Stormywind slithered through the bushes and glanced cautiously after the monster before gazing across the border at the ShadowClan side. Things in ThunderClan were rather quiet, almost to a point where every cat had been restlessly paranoid. Stormywind was thankful for the break from fighting, he was the kind of cat who would much rather be relaxing than fighting. After a while his clanmates' attitudes would rise along with their anger from the lack of activity among the clans and it would end with a fight among clanmates. So lately the cream tom had taken to staying out of camp as much as possible. Not to avoid his clanmates but rather to avoid their growing anxiousness.
Stormywind sighed as he turned away from the ShadowClan border to look behind him into his home forest. Maybe it would be best if he went back to camp after all. StarClan knows they could use a mediator or peacekeeper between them all. Figuring Fleetingthunder could keep the peace long enough to stop his clanmates from ripping each others' heads off, Stormywind was about to turn to go hunting when a flash of black and white caught his eye. Turning his head back to the ShadowClan side of the territory, he caught sight of an adult badger lumbering after she cat.
Stormywind started and froze to watch the she cat borrow to hide from the beast. His paws unfreezing, Stormywind darted across Thunder Path, disregarding the border and let out a fierce yowl top draw the attention of the badger. The creature turned to the tom and started to chase after him instead, having lost site of the she cat. Stormywind stood bravely before the creature and dodged at last minute. Not stupid enough to take on a badger, Stormywind lead the badger to ThunderClan territory where he gracelessly climbed a tree to get away from the badger. The badger placed its front paws on the tree, snarling at the warrior from the base of the tree, its hungry eye focused on the cat.
Knowing he didn't have much time before the badger started to climb the tree after her, Stormywind glanced around in some wild hope one of his clanmates were near. Instead he heard the faint sounds of a monster coming down Thunder Path.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,500,true][bg=0c2641]Now that the she-cat was pretty much well stuck in this little hole she shoved her rump into. She was finding it more than difficult to free herself. What surprised her more was an unknown figure rushing past her little hole toward the badger as if trying to lead it away. It was foolish in Fallingfeather's opinion. She was one to talk though here she was bopping around unclaimed territory without a warrior which could very well be why her rump was now stuck in a hole..
The distance between the stranger and her grew but she knew she didn't have time. One warrior could not take on a badger alone. Catching her breath in her lungs the female sucked in as much air as she could pressing her chest against the contorts of the hole's walls. Paw after paw she dug against the sides expanding and wiggling her body. Earthy smelling dirt crumbled against her face causing the she-cat to hiss coldly.
That tom had risked his life friend or foe; she had to get out of this hole and help. Ramming her chest against the now weakened side of the wall; releasing her claws she scrambled out of the hole. Once her paws had met grass she shot off in the direct the tom had went. Using the grotesque scent of the badger to pinpoint where they were. It didn't surprise her to the beast lumbering at a tree.
Emerald orbs watched in shock as the creature's massive claws bit against bark causing it to crackle and break away from it's home. Wincing at the thought of those claws against her flanks Fallingfeather hesitated. Shaking her head wildly, the female hissed at the badger growing closer to the creature's flanks. She reached out a clawed paw at it's backside before drawing back. The sounds of monster roaring in the narrow spaces of her swiveling ears.
...the thunderpath it was perfect. Glancing up the tree to the cat, she rose her tail signalling to the path. It seemed he was trying to lead it there already but the badger had approached to quickly and he went to a tree for safety. Well, it seemed they were saving each others lives now. Her vocals gave way to more hisses as she reached for the badger's attention but she was rearing herself back toward the thunderpath awaiting her new found friend's assistance before she was like that bark. In pieces.

Stormywind was regarding the few branches above him critically. There were thin and despite his own thin stature, they were unlikely to hold him for very long, or at all. So the only way to go was down. There weren't even any trees nearby for him to jump to. Just as he considered making his way down the back of the tree, he heard the sounds of another cat hissing at the badger. Gazing down in alarm, Stormywind watched as the she cat he had seen earlier was trying to bait the badger away from him. Unfortunately it was working.
Internally panicking, Stormywind scrambled to the lowest branches of the tree and watched as the she cat signaled for the Thunder Path. Good. She understood his rather insane plan. Well she probably wouldn't see this crazy plan coming. The ThunderClan warrior balanced himself on a branch directly above the badger and waited for an opportune moment. Just as the badger was stalking towards the she cat, Stormywind let out a battle cry yowl and jumped from the tree onto the beast's back. Instantly the badger began to shake himself free of the warrior, but Stormywind hooked his teeth through the ear of the badger and dug his claws into the flesh of the badger. It roared with agony and doubled its efforts to shake the tom cat off. As the beast was stumbling around, twisting its head from side to side in a vain effort to try and latch its teeth into Stormywind's pelt, it accidentally wandered onto the side of Thunder Path.
Stormywind allowed himself to be thrown off the badger, further into ThunderClan territory. Staying on his paws, Stormywind put himself between the badger and the she cat and hiss viciously at the thing. Distantly he could hear the sound of the monster coming closer. The two animals faced off and despite his smaller size, Stormywind held his ground against the badger. The bushes that hide the two from view of the Thunder Path were perfectly placed. Stormywind increased his hissing and swiped at the badger, forcing the beast to back closer to the bushes. In one final effort, Stormywind threw himself at the badger with all his might, forcing the animal back through the bushes onto Thunder Path. The cream tom's claws were obscuring the beast's vision as he rip and tore at its face. Stormywind glanced to the side and saw the monster closing in on the two quickly.
Releasing the badger from his grip, Stormywind quickly backpedaled into the bushes and burst from the other side. Not bother to watch what would happen to the badger, he ran to the she cat's side. "Hurry! Run! Into ThunderClan territory, we'll be safe there!" He meowed in a slightly accented voice to the she cat. He butted his head lightly against he flank before leading the way deeper into ThunderClan territory.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,500,true][bg=0c2641]The female taunted the lumber creature her glowing emerald eyes showing nothing but venom. Behind her slender frame a bushy silver tail lashed back and forth. Growing on the patience of the beast before her. Fallingfeather was not afraid in this moment as her eyes locked on the creature her claws teasing toward the beast's flesh inching closer and closer. It was as if she'd completely forgotten the cat above until well he was below. Landing square on the badger's back with claws at the ready.
The she-cat took the hint and backed away from the badger. Careful eyes floating between the two. Watching those snapping jowls was horrifying as she truly felt concern for the cat she didn't even know. The badger wasn't giving up without a fight and that much was clear. It was quick to go wild and toss off the strange cat. Which picked himself back up without a blink of an eye closing the distance between her and the badger.
Oh. What was she to do now? That monster was taking too long ! The badger wasn't even all that close to the path. That was when she noticed the strange batting the badger closer to the thunderpath. Her white paws set into motion and she covered herself at his side. Thrashing her unsheathed claws at the black and white figure with haste. She didn't like admitting it, but this tom and her made a good team if they survived that is.
As the strange tom got the badger's face she pulled back letting him aim more aggressive blows then her delicate form could hope to. As the two disappeared from the bushes she heard a startling screech on the road and there was the creamy fur of that tom bursting forward. His head nudging her flanks in the unfamiliar direction. The medicine cat truly wanted to stop to plant her paws into the damp dirt and say no.
Yet, there was a chance the badger was still alive it wasn't safe here. The female tossed her head skyward and mumbled something about her having a free will before catching up with the tom her paws matching at his own. After a few minutes of this rough running she finally came to halt. Intense jade eyes meeting with creamy fur. 'Why here?' she murmured bitterly. Her haunches coming down hard on the ground leaving small crickets to squeak away.
'Why did we have to go on this side of the border? I'm not welcome here,' her voice was a bit broody as her tail laced behind her frame. The female hushed for a moment brushing her exhausted bodice down with the prime velvet of her tongue. Smoothing out the ripples of panic and excitement that had left a mark on her.
Now her eyes were carefully tracing the male's bodice. A warrior. Apparently ThunderClanner from the direction he decided upon.. What perked her little ears up was noticing a deep scratch on his right shoulder. 'Hm, looks like he got you back.'

Stormywind didn't really notice the female had stopped following him until he was a few paces away from the she cat. He slowed his pace to a stop and looked at her quizzically. The ThunderClan warrior blinked at the she cat's words and glanced around him. The tall trees and foliage around him hummed with safety and familiarity that naturally called to the tom. He had been raised in ThunderClan, a place so unlike ShadowClan territory. Stormywind understood the she cat's hesitance. If he had been forced onto ShadowClan territory he would be just as wary. To be honest, his only thought was of escape as he ran deeper into ThunderClan territory. After living in such familiar woods for most of his life it was only natural to think of the forests of ThunderClan his sanctuary.
"Well," He started, licking his dry lips thoughtfully. The cream tabby turned his eyes from the scenery to take in the clearly restless female. "It was either here, or try to cross the Thunder Path which happened to be occupied by both a badger and a monster. I thought it would be the best choice." The tom meowed, his voice getting quieter and quieter as he continued on. He turned his olive eyes downwards and lowered his ears. He was so mouse-brained to have forced the she cat to do something she didn't want to. "I won't force you to stay here. You can leave whenever you like and if anyone asks I can tell them what happened." Stormywind meowed honestly, desperately hoping he hadn't upset the she cat.
The warrior bat at a stray leaf with his paw, desperately trying not to look the she cat in the eyes. He could feel the heat of embarrassment flash through his pelt at the very memory of his rash actions. "I-I'm sorry if I inconvenienced you in any way." He mumbled, skewering a leaf with his claws.
