Patchclaw let Brightsky come to her as Patchclaw laid down, "Sit, come now." She looked over the plains and golden tall grasses and continued hesitantly. This can go two ways, Brightsky understands, or he runs off in frustration, Patchclaw was hoping for a bit of understanding on the matter, "I want you to tell me what is going on between you and Swansong." Patchclaw sighed and went on, "The clan must be coming together in this time and i feel that you are detaching yourself from the medicine cat," She stopped to sniff the air, "You may not know it, but, both kits and apprentices look up to every warrior and what was displayed at the cerimony today was of poor respect and bad role-modeling." She breathed in and closed her eyes, letting the breeze ripple her fur as she sensed the change in season once more, "I need you to understand that whatever is between you and Swansong, to get over it because all the clans are about to have a war and the one thing i am noticing is the faltering of trust between one another." She licked his shoulder to help calm him down some. "Your not in trouble Brightsky, your a strong, brave, caring cat and i need you to be the bigger cat," and again, licked his shuolder and left him to think about it as Patchclaw padded away in silence.
(I kinda setted it up so in your next post you can think about it if you want to.)

Brightsky didn't hesitate to sit next to Patchclaw and settled himself a few paw steps away from the other cat. He looked out at the WindClan territory with familiar eyes, and remembered all the memories he had of the territory. Some made him wince and wonder what he was thinking while other times he had to share a secret smile with himself. It took a moment for the older tom to shake himself free of his reminiscing to listen to Patchclaw's words, and when he did he frowned slightly. "There is nothing going on between Swansong and I. She just isn't too keen on the idea of sharing an apprentice between the two of us. And..." The tom trailed off suddenly, weaving his tail in a cress of the grass beside him. It seemed like only a moon ago when he sprinted through these same grasses with his siblings, especially Omenfire and Farsight. Brightsky missed his brothers dearly, despite all the problems they came with. The senior warrior sighed tiredly before turning back to Patchclaw with his full attention.
"She reminded me of something I was dearly trying to forget." Brightsky sighed slightly, laying his head on his paws. "You're right. I should not be so hard on her. I was cross with her for no real reason." He meowed, feeling a twinge of self-hate at the thought of how he acted towards the young she cat.
