She hated to rise on such dismal-looking days, but she couldn't help it this morning - she had work to do, for once. It had been quite a while since Dappledcoat had attempted to train Blossompaw, partially because the she-cat was so feisty she would come up with excuses and snap at others rather than get something done. However, with the whole Clan in uproar over her sister's achievements, she felt she needed to get something done as well.
She approached the apprentice's den, licking a white paw carefully and nonchalantly as she gazed inside.
"Blossompaw! Oh Blossompaw!" she called out for her apprentice musically, her tone slightly softer than usual. "Come on out here, we're going to train today."
She shifted her weight uneasily as she went back to grooming, awaiting her apprentice's arrival out of the den. Despite being a sloth and prideful at times, Dappledcoat was a very talented warrior - not a she-cat to mess with in the least. Her plan today was to get some water voles in the Little Marsh. Meanwhile, her thoughts seemed to scatter as she waited silently for her apprentice.

"Training? Awesome! What kind of training? Where are we going?" Blossompaw attacked her mentor with questions as she bolted out of the apprentices' den, stopping and nearly tripping before she would end up knocking into Dappledcoat on accident.
The she-cat shook her fur- she hadn't bothered to clean it as she'd heard the word 'training' and was awake and up in a second. Blossompaw's eyes were blazing as if a green fire as she waited for answers. More questions counted in her head, but she tried her best to keep her mouth closed, not wanting to annoy her mentor.
Unfortunately- keeping her mouth shut ended up failing and Blossompaw exploded with more questions and meaningless talking, "I don't really like fighting.. Do you? I hope we go hunting- I like it better.. Of course, seeing the borders would be cool- are we going to see the borders? Possibly a border patrol? Oooh, are we going on a border patrol? If we are- then can we hunt too? Or, maybe we're going on a hunting patrol? If that's it- then should we go along the borders and hunt just to make sure? What if we go on a border patrol- or at least go to the borders- and we see enemy cats? Will we have to fight? I hope not, I don't like fighting.. Oh-" Blossompaw finally managed to stay quiet as she realized she'd already said that she didn't like fighting.. The apprentice looked down, ashamed that she'd once again gone on and on with questions and random, irrelevant sentences.

All the questions Blossompaw had asked her were floating in her head, and a look of slight annoyance crept up upon her face. Blossompaw was quite an energetic cat - something Dappledcoat was certainly not used to. For a mere moment, she reminisced about her own apprenticeship to Crowsnarl. A slight smirk appeared as she remembered how eager she had been, but the smile faded just as fast - after all, her training experiences ended in an unpleasant fashion and memory. Suddenly, the grumpy-looking face returned.
"Well... come on then," she meowed briskly, feeling slightly embarrassed to have such a lively cat follow after her.
After walking for a few moments, Blossompaw had begun again with her bombardment of endless questions. At first Dappledcoat hushed and kept walking forward, slightly ignoring her pestering, but that only lasted for so long. Finally, feeling overwhelmed, she halted.
"Stop with all the questions!" she hissed to her apprentice, amber eyes gazing right at her. She let out a huff of a sigh, as if out of breath, before flicking her tail calmly.
"We're here," she meowed, nudging her nose to the surrounding.
It was damp and slightly marshy, but then again it was called the Little Marsh. All around the water seemed to seep over reeds and weeds. Dappledcoat sat at the edge where the land was still dry, her tail curling over her forepaws.
"Welcome to the Little Marsh, Blossompaw," she purred slightly, an actual genuine smile appearing on her maw. "The number one place for water voles in all of RiverClan!" Dappledcoat looked quite full of herself as she smiled out at the marshy land in front of them.

(She's fun to RP cause she's never quiet, lol! I can't say I blame you for having Dappled snap! Midnightstar probably wouldn't take too well to Blossom or Cherry!XD)
Blossompaw crouched, sadness hitting her. "Sorry..." She mewed after Dappledcoat hissed at her. I knew I asked too many questions- I just don't know when to stop talking- I talk as my thoughts come, I guess..
The she-cat looked around the Little Marsh in awe, "Wow!" Unlike her sister, Blossompaw didn't hate getting her pelt muddy or whatever- she didn't care. "Water voles, huh? Cool!" Blossompaw meowed. She looked at her mentor, wanting to dash into the marsh and get hunting, but instead sitting and asking, "What do they look like? Do water voles taste good? Are they big or small? A-" Suddenly remembering getting snapped at, Blossompaw shut her mouth before any more words could be released.

She brushed it away a moment later, trying to refocus their thoughts. They weren't here for questions - they were here to train, and Dappledcoat was very excited to show her how to hunt water voles.
"They are the most delicious thing besides fish," Dappledcoat meowed, a look of happiness and awe across her face. It was clear that water voles must be Dappledcoat's favorite meal. She glowed at her apprentice at the new questions, as if she was excited to talk about the topic now.
"They're usually quite fat and tasty! Normal voles can be skinny, but water voles are long and plump. You can tell if it's a water vole by its size and location nearby water. They like to burrow around streams and rivers or marshes," she meowed, teaching Blossompaw what she knew. She glanced around for a moment, as if searching for something, before turning back with a smirk.
"Do you smell anything?" she meowed, her senses keen and alert.

Dappledcoat's description of water voles made a bit of drool edge at Blossompaw's mouth, but she licked her lips and tried her best to look dignified. "They sound really good!" She was happy that her questions had answers- but felt a bit bad that she'd rambled on again.
"Do you smell anything?" When the words were spoken, Blossompaw opened her jaw and scented the swampy water, "Yuck! I smell the marsh, but-" The apprentice suddenly scented something different- prey. "Wait, I can smell a water vole! It's over... There!" Bloddompaw meowed, flicking her tabby tail to where the scent came from. She looked at her mentor, "Do we catch it like it's a fish?"
