The leaves rustled on the ground as a leaf-fall breeze blew through the trees. It was rather chilly weather this morning, as the sun was creeping steadily in the sky. On the ground of the Sandy Hollow sat a dark ginger tabbied tomcat, stifling a tired yawn. Catnipcloud had been rather busy lately with Clan duties, including his new apprentice, Flowerpaw. Though it was early to rise, for his standards, he found much peace and solitude in the Sandy Hollow.
His golden eyes blinked lazily as his tail swizzled back and forth. Suddenly his eyes focused on the ground in front of him, making him hold his breath to breathe in the scents from around him. After a moment, he relaxed once more. 'Only a baby mouse,' he thought to himself as he set his face down onto his paws. He wasn't one for attacking young vermin - he preferred them to be aged and plump. With another yawn he relaxed onto his back, showing off his fluffy belly fur. Catnipcloud needed some relaxing time - though some cats may think that relaxing this far from camp might not be the best idea. . .
