Fleetingthunder was in his den as usual. After a late night of training his apprentice and healing a couple of odd colds here and there, Fleetingthunder was all the more tired. He laid down, and fell asleep, letting his dreams flood him as usual. But this time, it was different. It was a prophecy from StarClan...
'Fleetingthunder,' snapped a voice, 'Look at me.'
The medicine cat was confused, but he then turned his head in the direction of the voice and saw the previous medicine cat. A pang of regret and guilt hit him as his green eyes noticed how clean and neat she looked. Exactly as she had looked before her tragic death. But there was something he had to ask:
'Who killed you?' He asked, wanting to know.
'I cannot say. That is for when you discover it, not me.' She answered. She was different though, colder, darker, had StarClan's will changed her?
'But is he dead? The one who killed you?' Fleetingthunder persisted.
She nodded, 'Yes. Time has ravaged their soul.' She was good, she didn't even mention her killer's gender.
'I suppose you came to me about a prophecy yes?' He could presume her actions fairly well, he had known her since he was a young apprentice after all.
'Yes, that is correct.' Doveflight answered, her blue eyes shining brightly, still showing what she used to be. Who she used to be. She paused for a moment, then said, "River and Thunder shall meet in the dead of war. Clans will collide and alliances will falter. There will be no cure. Many will change sides, many will fall." and then, he saw her, the real Doveflight. The one whom he had shared many treasured memories with, "Be strong, Fleetingthunder..."
Strong... strong....
Fleetingthunder woke up in his den, and shook himself. He had to tell the others, before it was too late.
