[/i]! This is CotF's secret shop where you can trade us prey and receive goodies in return. Please read on below on how to earn prey, the prizes, and how to trade.
Hello, one and all, and welcome to The Black Market
PREY POINTS?!
Prey points are this website's form of 'currency.' You get 5 prey points for each post (IC and OOC) you make. After you've gained a sum of points you can cash them in for the goodies below! After you cash in your points you will lose them (though that should be obvious, right?) and you'll have to gain more back on your own by posting more. Ocassionally there might be a contest or a holiday where I will give out points for free just because it's nice. ;)
THE PRIZES
CHARACTER CREATION
50 › Mismatched Eyes (natural colors only; 150 for mismatched unnatural colors)
100 › Odd-color Eyes (Unnatural colors; ex: purple, red)
100 › Strange Markings (weird patches of fur, star-shaped marks, etc.) - 100 points
100 › Deformity (Ex: kinked tail, polydactyl [multiple toes], one eye, crooked paw)
150 › Hooked claws/Long claws/Extra-Long Fangs/etc. (anything rare that makes your cat a better fighter)
150 › Tortoiseshell tom (Naturally they are infertile, but if you choose this they will be fertile)
150 › Choose whatever name you want (May be in Clan without Clan name or name of something cats may not know about exactly. Still must make sense though Ex: Pumpkinpaw, Reese, Paintedfur, etc.)
200 › Start with pregnant queen, sans father
200 › Create a cat that is currently banned (Ex: WC she-cat, if they are banned)
IN CHARACTER
50 › Become a rogue (To leave from a Clan; this does not require leader's permission)
50 › Join any Clan (Must be a rogue, loner, or kittypet; this grants acceptance into ANY Clan, regardless of whether leader would allow you in)
100 › Choose genetics of kittens (If your cat is pregnant, this will allow them to choose what their cats look like; this includes genders)
100 › Choose amount in litter (This allows the parents to decide how many they want in their litter. This does not allow them to decide genetics or genders)
100 › Choose Warrior Name
100 › Change kitten's name (Only for litters born on this site, not your own kitten-made character)
150 › Position Upgrade (Allows Kits › Apprentice, Apprentices › Warriors; Their age will be bumped up, so they will not be underage for their rank.)
150 › Dream from StarClan (Your cat will receive a dream from StarClan about something related to their Clan's plot)
200 › Change cat's pelt (This is for an already existing cat, if you wish to change what they look like. A new bio is not required, and I don't want you to make one. Just post your new quick description. Note: This doesn't include the eyes. Eyes + Pelt cost 300)
200 › Change cat's eyes (This is for an already existing cat, if you wish to change their eye color(s). If they are already mismatched you may choose two new colors. If you want them mismatched, add 20 prey points. To change pelt and eyes it will cost 300)
200 › Change Cat's Name (This allows you to rename an already existing cat. You can change their warrior name, or change their name entirely)
200 › Elixir of Life (Will reverse a cat's aging. Can make a senior warrior young once more; Cannot make an apprentice back to a kitten or a Warrior back to an apprentice.)
350 › Spontaneous Pregnancy (This is for current female characters without mates. It will allow them to become pregnant. They can choose the father to be a loner, rogue, kittypet, or passed away)
350 › "Caring for Her Kits" (This is the male version of the above pregnancy. This allows the tom to have mated with a she-cat [of or not of the Clan] who has passed away, leaving him with her kits.)
OUT OF CHARACTER
200 › Special Custom Title of your choice
200 › Personal Username Color of your choice
300 › Regular table (Header image, background color/text to your customization; made by a graphics member)
400 › Scrolling table (A scrolling table with images/quotes and colors of your choice; made by Minty)
HOW TO TRADE
So now that you see all of our lovely prizes, I'm sure you're itching to find out how to trade in your prey points to get them! It's really quite simple, I promise! Post in the corrosponding thread in The Black Market[/i] board (Character Creation Trades, In Character Trades, Out Of Character Trades) with the form listed. Then an admin will check out your form, take away the amount of prey points required, and give you the prize.
If you want a Character Creation prize we will put a note in your Custom Title of what you bought so the leader will know and not decline your bio. If you buy something In Character we will do the same, except list whatever it was you had until it comes into play (if you choose to have a spontaneous pregnancy it will remain until the pregnant thread is created; if you choose to go up a rank level it will remain until your leader holds the ceremony). Out of Character submissions are pretty straight forward and will likely happen the fastest.
We will also keep a list of who-bought-what for reference in case something gets mixed up or confusing.
