Irate as his response should be, the feline retorted silently, eyes narrowed slightly, tail flicking this way and that, dashing time silently. She was revolted at the scents that furrowed through her mandible, and a low, inaudible hiss, quiet and prudent, fluttered from her maw. Subtly, she unhinged her muzzle to speak, her soprano mew engulfed by her instantaneous irritation. "At this hour? I'm afraid not, my friend. I had presumed there was some activity in the forest- I intended on hunting, given this racket. However, it was you. I called for no medical assistance, mind you." She distinctly recalled the obnoxious clamor that aroused her from her pleasant dreams, and she gawked with great scrutiny at the others. OOC: As is Rainpath. She's not too kind, but that pends entirely on one's demeanor. ^^ "I see," meowed the tom, trying to make sense of Rainpath's words. Despite his age, the medicine cat, though wise, knew little of how to decifer uncommon words, such as 'one'. Fleetingthunder barely used it himself, seeing how the clan always used 'I' or 'you', even Midnightstar. "Well, I think I will be off then. Unless, you have anything to say?" the Maine Coon looked at Monarchwing and Badgertail.

"Well I knew that," He mewed thinking agian on how she had moved so quickly. It wasn't entirely natural for a Thunderclan cat to move so nimbly. The trees and undergrowth were their allies. Speed was a trait for windclan. Well, then again, he thought running his eyes along her toned pelt, she isn't all Thunderclan. Is she? "I meant more along the lines of who taught you to do it. Was it your mentor, or did you come up with it yourself?"

Monarchwing Do all these roads lead me back to you? Monarchwing glanced at Fleetingthunder, flicking an ear. "We're fine, Fleetingthunder," she meowed, nodding at him. "Sorry for bothering you, of course!"She returned her attention to Badgertail, blinking. "I came up with it myself," she meowed proudly, flicking her tail. "But my mentor is who helped me take advantage of my speed."

Badgertail's ear flicked. She came up with it herself. Good. That meant she was innovative, creative, and willing. A cat worth his time. It was the fact that he was mainly strength and she speed that annoyed him in the slightest. He prefered to match his skills against cats as big and strong as he. But he would have to fight all kinds of cats when it came to defending the borders from outsiders anyway.
"Oh yeah?" He mewed, "Bet you didn't come up with this! He reared onto his hind legs, front paws held close to his body and his black tain wrapped aroun one of his paws. He balanced for only a moment before bringing all of his weight crashing down on his fellow warrior, his paws aiming to wrap around her neck and bring her down with him.

Monarchwing Do all these roads lead me back to you? Monarchwing lashed her tail, eyes sparkling with the challenge. This was definitely something she was enjoying, practicing with Badgertail. He seemed to want to prove himself as much as Monarchwing. Hearing his claim, she tensed, readying herself. She was prepared for something different. She was definitely not ready for the straightforward attack. His paws wrapped around her neck, and she squealed in surprise as she was dragged to the ground, pinned beneath him. Thinking quickly, Monarchwing attempting to flip over, to off balance the tom and cause him to fall.
