Stromywind allowed his sun warmed pelt to slowly lose the heat it had acquired from its few moments in the sun light to escape the thin fibers of hair. The tom paid no mind to his rapidly cooling pelt as he watched the odd group curiously meet with the stern ThunderClan leader. He listened carefully from the shadows as the warrior, Catnipcloud, explain the cat's situation of being clan less. To Stormywind, the thought of being clan less was not all that strange as it would seem to another cat. He had been raised in the clan from an early age but could still remember the pressure-less days of being a loner with no cats plotting behind your back or the worry of keeping your fellows alive along with yourself. Stormywind put a harsh stop to those thoughts, he still loved clan life more than he would ever love being a loner. Despite their dislike of him, it was a relief to be surrounded by those who would come to his aid in times of trouble and rely on each other and work together like one mind. The thought of some cat coming on to their territory was irritating, and Stormywind felt a rush of gratitude that Catnipcloud was vigilant enough to catch the cat.
Stormywind's already flattened ears went back even further in a mix of confusion and awe when Catnipcloud glanced around the clearing and spotted him. Instead of sneering or something equally as rude, he nodded his head to Stormywind in a sign of acknowledgment of the tom's presence. The ThunderClan warrior blinked in confusion at the action but was distracted by Midnightstar's words. Stormywind flickered his tail in irritation at the foreign cat's clear disrespect towards the leader but was quickly followed by a flood of understanding. Only a brave cat could stand in front of the leader of clan and act completely unbothered by their status, especially and outsider like this rouge.
Stormywind stepped forth, his curiosity overriding his caution and looked over the stranger cat as he spluttered in front of the she cat. The tom warrior secretly thanked Fleetingthunder who covered for the tom by explaining the rouge's intensions. Stormywind quickly glanced to Midnightstar to see her reaction, letting a cat like that into the clan would tell a lot about the she cat's character. Taking in a kit of his age when he first was easily accepted by the clan because he was still a kit, but to accept a cat the age of an apprentice would be more controversial.

[atrb=border,0,true][cs=7][bg=d9c194] The ginger-colored warrior fur bristled with anticipation as Midnightstar began to question the loner. His golden-colored eyes jetted between both parties, his claws digging into the ground by this point. Midnightstar wasn't a fool by any means, and he knew that she would clearly assess the situation before declaring a verdict. Of course, Catnipcloud's bias was still strong, and he secretly prayed that Midnightstar would make the right decision - his decision.
As Kurai stumbled on his words, Catnipcloud's tail lashed back and forth uneasily. This cat didn't even know how to answer the leader - let alone know his reason for being on their grounds. Catnipcloud had been suspicious when Kurai had questioned about Clan life, and now he wanted to find out the real reason why Kurai had been on their territory. Most loners and rogues knew to keep off - or at least to not be caught by a ThunderClan warrior. He let out a small purr of amusement as Midnightstar seemed to have wanted the cat to leave. This is exactly what he felt would be right. Loners didn't belong in Clan life - they rarely adjusted well enough (sadly, he knew Stormywind was a case like this; Stormy had never appeared to fully belong to the Clan, despite joining at a younger age - not that it was his fault, and Catnipcloud was aware of that).
A growl seeped to the edges of his lips as Fleetingthunder defended the cat - he certainly wasn't going to by any means. He dug his claws into the earth, churning the dusty soil beneath him.
"If he doesn't do well - what if he becomes a threat to the Clan? Letting him in at all is a gamble I don't' think we should attempt to take," Catnipcloud hissed, half under his breath. His blazing fur stuck out uncomfortably as his temperature began to rise. He glanced at Midnightstar, his breath slowing for her response.
Catnipcloud made contact with Stormywind once more, almost out of curiosity as how the tom was getting along in the situation. Since they had taken Stormywind into the Clan at a much younger age, he had grown up quite well as a ThunderClan cat, and Catnipcloud felt Stormywind's loyalty would show through. Stormywind had been a special case. He couldn't read exactly whether Stormywind was confused, appalled, irritated, or inviting toward the newcomer, but he hoped it wasn't the latter. His attention shifted back toward his Clan leader's response as he sifted a sigh.

Midnightstar flicked her ear, "I don't need helpers or fighters. Go." She ordered, looking at Catnipcloud then Fleetingthunder. She didn't notice that Stormywind was watching and she simply sat down, sighed, and looked at Kurai, her green eyes narrowed, "Well?"
"I-I..." Kurai managed to say. I can't do it and she's ordering them to leave! Help! He thought miserably, then words finally came out, "I want to join Thunderclan.." The tom's green gaze looked at Midnightstar's, and he gulped, wondering if she'd say yes or no.
Midnightstar didn't say anything for a few moments, then decided, "You may join ThunderClan. I shall hold your ceremony in a little while." She stood and padded into her den, not wanting to hear anything from any cat. He'll be good for the Clan, I think.

He didn't want to leave by any means, but he knew that he must obey Midnightstar's commands. With a rough flick of his tail, he snuck away with the other cats. Of course, being Catnipcloud, he hid behind a tree so that he could hear what his leader had to say. Midnightstar had allowed the loner into the Clan, and a flicker of annoyance overcame Catnipcloud. Yet, no matter how much he disliked non-Clan born cats, Midnightstar's words were law and something that he could not overcome. Flicking his tail uneasily, he retreated back to camp - clearing his mind of the day's activities as well. He planned to himself on giving Kurai a talking-to during the cat's entrance ceremony.

Fleetingthunder nodded and the grey and white maine coon walked off. "If you need me, I will be in my den Midnightstar." A final glance at Kurai, he wondered what would happen to the cat. Ah, good old Fleetingthunder, still polite even though Midnightstar had annoyed him greatly.
